Olivier Vincent, President & CEO
Mr. Vincent has spent 17 years as an executive in the phone directories industry in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. He currently serves as President and CEO of Canadian Phone Directories (now Canpages) since 2006. Olivier was instrumental in the Canpages’ sale in January of 2006 to HM Capital Partners of Dallas, Texas and was the architect behind Canpages' current market expansion strategy. From 2001 to 2006, Mr. Vincent was Vice President of international operations for Verizon Yellow Pages of Dallas, Texas. At Verizon Yellow Pages, he was responsible for launching several wireless and internet services within the U.S. and managed businesses in all continents, including serving as General Manager of Verizon Yellow Pages' Canadian operations. From 1999 to 2001, he was President of Vancouver-based Dominion Information Services/SuperPages Canada which formerly published the TELUS Pages and SuperPages. Mr. Vincent has a degree in engineering from École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées, Paris, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Haute Études Commerciales, France. Mr. Vincent is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO). David Charron, Vice-President & General Manager
David Charron was appointed Vice President and General Manager in the summer of 2008. David is responsible for the sales and marketing functions for ImmersiFind and the day to day operations of the business. He is also currently Vice-President Business Development of Canpages, where he is responsible for the strategic partnerships of the company and for the development and deployment of new revenue generating initiatives. He will continue to position the company as the leader in local search in print and online advertising sector within the Canadian publishing marketplace. Prior to joining the Canpages team, David was Vice President Marketing (2006-2008) for onTargetjobs.com of Fort Worth, Texas, the parent company of leading online niche job boards throughout North America and Europe. From 1999-2005, David held progressively senior management positions with SuperPages Canada in the areas of marketing, business development, strategic planning and was a member of the company's executive team. While at SuperPages, David was one of executives responsible for the successful launch of the superpages.ca platform and played a large role in the company's expansion as an independent publisher in Central & Eastern Canada. David holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance and MBA in Marketing from Concordia University (Montreal) and City University (Seattle) respectively. Dariush Zomorrodi, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Zomorrodi was appointed CTO for ImmersiFind in the summer of 2008 and has been instrumental in designing and developing online mobile directory platforms for over 10 years. Dariush also serves as Vice-President New Media for Canpages, a role he has held since 2006. Dariush was the architect development leader behind Yellow.ca, Canada's largest independent directory and local search company, which was acquired by Canpages Inc. in 2006. At Yellow.ca, Dariush served as vice-president of Technology and Corporate Development was instrumental in designing and further developing the online directory platform, enterprise systems, including CRM, billing, sales force and marketing management, Datamart.ca and YellowTech. Prior to joining the online directory industry, Dariush operated his own IT consulting practice in the management consulting industry and served as a software engineer for the financial industry, developing applications and office automation products. Dariush has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from SBU, Iran, a Master's of Business Administration degree from Queen's University in Kingston and earned his Certified Management Consultant designation from the Canadian Association of Management Consultants. Kristina Finch, Local Search Media Consultant
Kristina Finch was appointed Project Manager for ImmersiFind in the summer of 2008. Kristina was responsible for generating all initiatives involving social mediums, user experience, as well as developing procedures and protocols within the new media team. She was also responsible for all new media training. Interested in taking on a more hands on role, Kristina was promoted to Local Search Consultant for ImmersiFind in the summer of 2009 where she is currently responsible for social marketing and strategic partnership within the Independent Directory space. |
